UK PlantSci 2016 takes place at John Innes Conference Centre in Norwich.

Registration, lectures, poster sessions, refreshments and lunches will all take place in the John Innes Conference Centre.
Norwich International Airport is North of the City which is 30 minutes drive from the Conference Centre.
Stansted International Airport is an hour and a half by road, or 2 hours by train, from the Conference Centre. Stansted provides links to UK destinations and various European hubs for onward international connections.
Norwich has a fast direct link to London (Liverpool Street Station) with an average journey time of 2 hours. There are links to the Midlands and the North via Peterborough. Trains run approximately every 30 minutes to London, and at least once an hour to the Midlands and the North.
Taxis are available from outside Norwich Train Station, and bus services from the city centre run directly to the Conference Centre. Buses in the city are operated by First and Konect. See their websites for up to date timetables and fares.
National Express coaches run from all major cities to the Surrey Street bus station in the city centre. For details of bus routes and timetables, head to the National Express coaches website.
The John Innes Centre is located close to the A47 and just a few miles from Norwick City Centre.

Accommodation is not included in the registration fee. There are a number of accommodation options available for delegates, located within a few miles of the conference venue.
Broadview Lodge is located on the University of East Anglia campus, closeby to the John Innes Conference Centre.

Premier Inn “Showground” is located on the A47 to the west of Norwich, approx 4 miles and 8 minutes’ drive from the Conference Centre (08715 278834, NR5 0TP).
Travelodge “Thickthorn” in Cringleford approx 2.5 miles and 7 minutes’ drive to the Centre (08719 846205, NR9 3AU).
Park Farm in Hethersett is approx 4 mile and 8 minutes’ drive to the Centre (01603 810264, NR4 3DL).
Maids Head situated in the Centre of Norwich. This is approx 5 miles and a 20 minutes (more at peak times) drive to the Centre (01603 209955, NR3 1LB)
Posters will be open for viewing throughout the meeting. In addition, a designated poster session will be held on the evening of Monday 11th April.
Posters should be printed in portrait orientation, no larger than 900mm wide x 1200mm high (3ft x 4 ft or A0 paper size in portrait format or A1 in landscape format).

UK PlantSci 2016 is approved for the purposes of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) by the Royal Society of Biology. Participants can claim 51 Royal Society of Biology CPD credits for attending the meeting.
